The second owner's hobbies was to built lawn ornaments from shells and cement such as fish ponds, a windmill and light house which still remain in the yard. The house has original hardware, woodwork, built-in buffet, tray ceilings, and a suitor's window plus other treasures.
Parkview B&B is located central to activities in Spring Green, Baraboo, and Wisconsin Dells with bike trails and state parks nearby.
The Hofmanns opened Parkview B&B in 1989 so are seasoned innkeepers. Donna, a home economist, enjoys preparing a full, homemade breakfast for guests that use seasonal and local foods as much as possible.
