Located in the Village of Strasburg The Garver House circa 1902 was built for the Garver family owners of the Garver Brothers store. Know as the worlds largest country store. The Garver Bros. store was in business from 1866 until 1970. Philip A. Garver stated the formula for operating a successful store for over 100 years is friendliness, a formula that lives on at the Garver House Bed & Breakfast. The Garver House retains all the beautiful woodwork and craftsmanship of a bygone era. Hardwood inlaid floors, stained glass windows, 7 in all, and 4 fireplaces are just some of the highlights of this magnificent home. All the charm and ambiance of a bygone era with modern amenities.
