Nestled in the heart of the historic district rests this beautiful half-timber, half-brick home built in the 1840's. Walk up the steps to the back yard and discover another world. The patio welcomes you with an umbrella table , along side of the brick smokehouse built in the 1890's. The garden is overflowing with sunflowers, hollyhocks and other beautiful flowers. Butterflies and hummingbirds happily partake of the sweetness as you will also. Your walk in the garden will allow you to view the hundreds of geodes collected over the years by Nancy and Todd. Choose from two great accommodations, The Cobbler Room where years ago owner and shoemaker Friedrick Kraemer had his shop, or The Cottage next door . Both have queen beds, private baths, gas fireplaces, small refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, table and chairs, VCR and movies and air-conditioning.
