Restored 1909 Railroad hotel located on the Mormon Trail in the rolling hills of sourthern Iowa. Original 13 ft. tin ceilings and period antiques throughout. We strive to make each experience unique. We offer small intimate weddings of up to 30 in our lobby. Banquet facilites can seat up to 50. We offer rehearsal dinners, receptions, reunions, bus tours and retreats. Relax on the white wicker porch swing. Unwind with a cup of coffee or tea on the east portico and watch the sun rise. This is a place where you can take life a little slower.

Hosts were more than just hosts, during my husbands stay while working in town for 3 1/2 months, to renovate the dairy across the street. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were provided with everything a traveler could want for some quiet R&R, in this beautiful historic Inn. Great hosts and wonderful, comfortable accomidations. We can't wait to return again.
