Relax with your loved one, family, or a girls weekend getaway. Your choice of the whole log home rental with black bear theme, or the Cabina West with a southwestern theme. Evening meal with homemade bread and Illinois wine (complimentary glasses). Breakfast is in the refrigerator for you to reheat whenever you get up. Unending coffee (Folgers provided) Relax on the covered porch with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Enjoy your morning coffee on the sundeck as the sun rises.
Outdoors enjoy walking trails, campfire, picnic area, spacious yard for playing ball, or bocci balls, etc. Birdwatching, stargazing, moonwatching, nature, pond for fishing (bass, bluegill, catfish).
Indoors: satelite TV/DVD/surround sound. Closet full of magazines, games, books. Gas fireplace (seasonal) Kids love the loft with game table and TV/VCR.
We make an appearance once or twice a day (to deliver your meals) and more if you need us. We live on the south of the pond, the log home is on the east of the pond, and the Cabina is to the west of the pond. Our dogs Westin and Bear may check up on you a little more, but they don't usually wear out their welcome. And if they bother you, just call us. Van built the log home in 2007, complete with heat and air, ceiling fans, wood floors. The Cabina was a former gun club that was remodeled and opened in Nov. of 2010.
