Galen C. Moses House
- Reviewed by Christin & Joe Silva
From the moment we walked through the threshold of this gorgeous Victorian home, my husband and I were blown away. The house is beautifully appointed in period antiques with touches of whimsy and incredible architectural details. Our hosts, Jim and Larry were incredibly gracious, and worked hard at every moment to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room, appropriately named The Victorian, was absolutely beautiful. It was tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and our room, as well as the rest of the house, was immaculately clean. Our breakfast each morning was served on beautiful antique dinnerware, and the food was nothing short of scrumptious. My husband and I are definitely making plans to go back and would recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone looking to escape from the hustle and bustle. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and unplug from the world while enjoying the splendor of a gorgeous Victorian home. We would rate it an 11 out of 10! |

The Housley House w/English garden
- Reviewed by Harvy Popowich
We've stayed at many B&B's and have always enjoyed somethings about them and not so much about them. The Housley House was the best weekend we have had in a long time. We have stayed at both B&B's in Grand Rapids, Ohio but this one is the cream of the crop. Not only is all the bedding new and high quality and the baking/cooking is out of this world but Teresamarie's gift for hospitality will keep us coming back more! She spends so much time paying attention to your details, what you need, what you like, what may be needed soon... that she wears you out. Don's stories keep you laughing, Teresamarie's hospitality keeping coming back for more! |

I have been to Branson more than 50 times over the years, and never had any more of an enjoyable stay as I did hear at Patchwork Quilt. The peace and serinity of the locations goes without words. I would recommend to anyone. |

The Bali Cottage at Kehena Beach Hawaii
- Reviewed by Jerry Hauer
I have been married to the same woman for 42years. She has accompanied me literally ALL OVER THE WORLD! We stayed at The Bali Cottage at Kehena Beach for 8 days...we both felt it wasn't long enough! The Bali Cottage was perfect, spotless, no detail was spared. Our host was what everyone hopes for ...Welcoming, charming, at tentative, and being local knows the out of the way places and how to get there unlike some guidebooks. She was honest about the "Clothing Optional" beach and tells all her guests who feel uncomfortable there about another "Secret Beach" where you can have the place all to yourself! You also can go down to Kehena Beach in the morning and it is ALWAYS empty. We watched the sun rise on the beach while the spinner dolphins jumped, we even saw a Humpback Whale and her calf!!! This was only 75ft out in the water! There is so much to do here, Kehena Beach, ?Secret Beach, Shipman Beach, Pohoiki, Kaimu Beach, Kumukahi Lighthouse (ALL HAVE SAND?Where you can RELAX!)?I could go on, but then I would sound like a guidebook. My point is?THERE IS WAY TOO MUCH TO DO HERE, to run out of things to do. My wife and I haven?t had this much fun since we made our two children. The weather, the sights, the people? We felt like Honeymooners all over again. This place was a Bargain! We even told Janet she is not charging enough; she told us a lot of her guest make the same comment. This place books up fast and for a good reason! It?s PARADISE any way you look at it. This part of the Big Island feels more like what Maui felt like in the mid 60?s. I am a Marine, Master Gunnery Sergeant (MGySgt) and am very Marine looking. Yet the Hippies & locals were nicer than anywhere else in all of the State of Hawaii. Here it really is ?to each..his own? Very non-judgmental. All in all this was the Perfect Vacation Destination. "great value, very clean" My Girl friend and I had a great time at the Colonial House. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they are very net and clean. The grounds are very well done and kept up. The indoor pool was clean and warm. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, it is a great value! The Dinners which were included were excellent |

Wonderful place! The rooms are comfortable, the views are unbeatable, Frank is the nicest host I've met, and the climbing gym and fitness gym are great. I'd gladly recommend the Lodge to anyone, whether they're looking for a relaxing time or adventure. |
