Dermot and Ann would like to invite you to their beautiful, comfortable, warm home “Glenderan” a tastefully decorated Bed and Breakfast situated on one acre of manicured gardens where at night the only sound you'll hear is the rustling of the leaves in the wind or maybe the soft murmur of rain falling on the slate roof or in the morning the joyful sounds of birds and bees as they go about their business.
“Glenderan” Bed and Breakfast is in a nice quiet area just 600 meters from Westport Harbour where you will find beautiful restaurants and pubs shops etc, and 1.5 km from Westport town centre a heritage town spotlessly clean and winner of the national Tidy Towns award on numerous occasions along with other major European floral awards and packed with quaint shops pubs and restaurants where you can eat your fill with award winning fare, shop till you drop( or the wallet is empty) and drink till the cows come home and listen to Irish music in little pubs like Matt Mulloys (of Chieftain fame), Porter house, Cosy Joe's, And Johnny Morans etc.
Take the taxi home and sleep the night away in wonderful beds till morning when the smell of a freshly cooked breakfast will awaken your sense’s, the power shower which will freshen you up and the singing of the birds will lighten your step for the rest of the dayOur home is on one acre of land with beautiful shrubbed gardens, in which guests can stroll and relax. There is a patio area with pond and seats where guests can relax and read and enjoy their glass of wine.
We want you to feel at home . your room has everything a traveller will need Central heating, Satellite TV tea/coffee facilities hairdryer clock radio books wine/whiskey glasses ice and nice comfortable beds with orthopaedic mattresses and lots of hot water in the power showers. Iron and ironing board are available for guest use
If you feel like it you can pay a visit to the leisure centre at the Beech club at the Woods hotel (swimming pool, sauna, gym, Jacuzzi bath, etc complements of Glenderan and free to our guests while you are here

We are situated on the T39 / R 335
From Westport towards Westport Harbour through the harbour to the Quays pub and 200 meters further on take a left turn onto small road where you see fingerpost signs for Glenderan.
From Leenane as you approach the town at the white fire station there are fingerpost signs with Glenderan signposted there.
From Louisburgh we are 300 meters past the Sheebeen pub signposted to the right or if you approach from Louisburgh past Gannon's garage for 1km there are signs for Westport Harbour we are on that road on the left.
