A warm welcome awaits you at Tullyvrick B&B,a beautiful home built in the traditional style with Connemara stone. The spacious interior of this carefully designed country home has been tastefully furnished to perfectly combine modern convenience with old Irish style. Each bedroom has modern en-suite facilities as well as orthopaedic beds. The lounge has a relaxed ambiance with its open fire, oak floors, doors & antique furniture.
Enjoy an Irish or continental breakfast with home baking and locally sourced produce. The sunny dining room with exposed stone wall, overlooks the large landscaped garden with patio area, water fall, organic vegetable garden, free range hens, stone walls and views of rolling fields and hills.
Situated in a peaceful location on the Lake-shore Road, yet only a short stroll to the pretty village of Oughterard with its restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a drink whilst listening to some traditional Irish music.
Oughterard, situated between the cosmopolitan City of Galway and the wilds of Connemara is a perfect base to explore all the diverse activities, sights and experiences the West has to offer. Connemara with the scenic Twelve Bens mountain range in the north, the picturesque, golden beaches reaching out into the vast Atlantic Ocean and the many lakes and bogs are all within an easy drive. Take in the breathtaking and unique Connemara countryside with its gentle hills, bog lands, numerous lakes and golden, sandy beaches which are ideal for safe swimming.
An artists paradise, with its special light, the Connemara countryside boasts different colours and moods every day with its wild Fuchsia, Rhododendrons, Heather and many wild flowers. One can spend the day walking, cycling, golfing, painting, horse riding, shooting or fishing.
