Glenribbbeen Lodge is a B&B in a beautiful area set along the Blackwater Valley that runs on a firm ecological basis. Shower in the heat of the sun(panals), toilets flush with rainwater. All drinking water from (safe) spring.

We encourage visitors to examine the projects and ask questions.

Glenribbeen Lodge offers a lovely wheelchair-friendly apartment with gardens and a glass covered seating/BBQ area. It sleeps 5 long-term but can take 7..The mature gardens have ponds, outdoor-oven with lots of seating, it is a totally self-contained unit.

Els (from Amsterdam) is cook, gardener and your hostess.

Glenribbeen is 50mins from both Waterford and Cork Cities & Airports, 75 mins from the Rock of Cashel, 70 mins from Killarney 20 from sea.

Cycling:
All levels from along the banks of the river(s) to some challanging hill climbing.

The Blackwater, the premier salmon fishing in Europe is 250m from our door.

We are at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains and 20 mins from various beaches and shore/sea-fishing areas. Glenribbeen is an eco-friendly house and we work hard to cover every aspect of good environmental practice.
