Creechbarn is and old, converted Somerset Longbarn set on the edge of a quiet village three miles east of Taunton, yet only 5 minutes drive from Junction 25 on the M5. Set in two acres of garden at the end of its own private drive behind the 13th Century Church, the barn is the last remaining farm building of the nearby Manor Farm listed in the Doomsday Book. Lots of safe , off-road parking. Long country walks are on the doorstep with the Canal towpath only 400 yards away. A peaceful home from home, suitable for famlies with children and well behaved dogs. It is also much liked by business people who want a change from dull, all-same hotels or people who just want a quiet, rural break. There is a good choice of pubs offering excellent meals within 10 minutes drive. The barn is not suitable for those unable to manage 14 steps on a wide staircase with strong banisters to the bedrooms, or those unable to make their own, unaided escape in the unlikely event of a fire.
