Directions Coming from the north, leave the M5 at Junction 5 for A391 to Tiverton, then A396 to Exeter. After about 8 miles follow signpost to the right for Thorverton and Thorverton Arms. Coming from the south, follow signs around Exeter to A377 to Crediton, then A396 to Tiverton. Drive through villages of Stoke Cannon and Rewe, then turn left following sign to Thorverton just before the Ruffwell Inn.

Thorverton village is very picturesque with thatched cottages, a ford and a number of walks and cycle tracks in the surrounding countryside. Being just seven miles from Exeter, it is the ideal touring base for the north and south Devon coasts, Exmoor and Dartmoor.As the capital of Devon, Exeter has plenty of things to entertain all age groups. As well as being an excellent place for shopping, the city has many attractions.
