As you turn down our tiny drive Valency reveals itself in all its glory at the valley entrance just minutes from the famous harbour, old village and coastpath.
People come here to celebrate a variety of occasions, as a couple or with close friends and family. Many just want to spend time relaxing in a trusted comfortable retreat away from their pressurized daily lives.

Changing seasons and our location make us an excellent base for the West Country with two Moorlands, Gardens, Heritage sites, Galleries, Rivers and Beaches all within easy reach. Boscastle itself is a designated AONB (Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty)

Feeling hungry? choose a restaurant, bistro, pub or cafe, all just a stroll away, many of them use locally sourced and homecooked food wherever possible.

At the end of the day if you are really lucky catch one of our glorious sunsets from the rocks at the dramatic harbour entrance.

Our aim has been to provide ourselves and our guests with comfort and modern requirements whilst retaining the unique character of our house. Guests frequently praise our delicious breakfasts, comfortable & sumptuously dressed beds, our service and attention to detail. We have a Visit Britain Silver accolade to recognise this commitment.

We have on site parking; a luxury in Boscastle. Guests are welcome to relax on the slate patio warmer weather. We are fully non smoking both in the house and garden.

We are committed to developing sustainable and green tourism practices including local sourcing of food to ensure the conservation of this beautiful area. We are Gold GTBS Award holders and were finalists for the Cornwall Tourism 2008 Sustainability Award
