Cleavers Lyng is a grade II listed country house of considerable charm and charactor, dating back to 1577, all bedrooms are en suite and individually furnished to a exceptionally high standard. Set on a quiet country lane surounded by beautiful East Sussex countryside, with panoramic views over the Pevensey Levels towards the South Downs. The gardens are abllaze with colour during the Spring and Summer months. We are jsut a 5 min walk to Herstmonceux Castle and its grounds and gardens and we have many walks from our door. Close by the cuckoo trail and the 1066 walks are easily accessible, including walks over the Seven sisters and the South Downs Way. WE have many local beaches including Normans Bay, Pevensey Bay, Cooden, Bexhill, Hastings , Seaford, Newhaven. We are also lucky to have very many local restaurants and country pubs to tempt your tastebuds.
