4 star rated A beautiful property situated on the site of Hadrian's Wall offering luxurious surroundings with a warm family atmosphere, breathtaking scenery and a interesting history dating back to 1780. All rooms are large and spacious with their own private facilities aimed at making our guests stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Most arrival and departure times can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Hesket House was built in 1780 as the Steam Packet Inn, the original hotel for the then port of Fishers Cross now Port Carlisle and has had such distinguished visitors as Woodrow Wilson in the past.
