| Directions | Newcastle-on-Clun is located in the south-west of Shropshire, south of Shrewsbury and north-west of Ludlow. Heading from the A49 at Craven Arms (25 miles south of Shrewsbury), head west along the B4368 Clun Road. You'll pass through, Aston on Clun, then through Clunton passing the first The Crown Inn, continue on the main road into Clun. At the Y junction, take the left fork going down the hill and over the bridge, turn immediately right at the signpost pointing to Newcastle & Newtown, continue a further 3 & 1/2 miles and you'll arrive in Newcastle. The pub is located on the main road on the right hand side just as you enter the village. |

Day trips to the Secret Hills Discovery Centre at Craven Arms, "The gateway to the Marches", Acton Scott Historic Working Farm or the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, are just a few of the 90+ attractions in the area.
