BRIDGE COTTAGE, OUNDLE ROAD, WOODNEWTON, PETERBOROUGH, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE PE8 5EG
Bridge Cottage is a newly renovated property situated on the edge of the village of Woodnewton, in Northamptonshire. We have superb views over open countryside with the Willowbrook running through the bottom of the garden. There is a large summer house for visitors to spend time down at the river watching the bird life and the sunsets – we run a very informal, friendly home where we welcome visitors to make them feel relaxed and rested.
Bridge Cottage is privately owned by Rod and Judy who have spent two years altering the property to a high standard of décor and comfort comprising of two newly decorated double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a separate twin room with the family bathroom nearby.
Bridge Cottage is situated approximately 4 miles from the historic town of Oundle, 8 miles down the A1 from Stamford, and 10 miles from Peterborough. There are numerous walks from the house, public footpaths leading to either Fotheringhay, Southwick, Bulwick, Apethorpe, or Nassington – through woods and across fields or within close range of Fotheringhay Church and Castle, Southwick Hall, Blatherwyke Lake and Barnwell Country Park, Lyveden New Bield and Rockingham Castle
Disabled guests can be accommodated by request. We wish to make everyone feel welcome, whatever age or interest you may require.
