If you love sight-seeing, driving, walking, cycling, boating or simply relaxing in beautiful countryside, “The Old Workshop” is just the place for you to come and stay. We are ideally located on Braunston Wharf and Marina and convenient for airports, stations and tourist attractions such as Warwick Castle and Stratford on Avon, and London and Oxford are only an hour’s train journey away. We are "Green and Friendly" with a state-of-the-art wood pellet boiler for all hot water and heating, low energy lighting and 8 rain water butts for the garden; we recycle everything we can and purchase all our tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. from Fair Trade sources. We have two rooms (one twin with en-suite toilet, shower and bath; one double with en-suite toilet and wet-room) and both rooms have Tea/Coffee making facilities, plus TV/DVD/Video. Continental or ‘Full English’ breakfast (made from local produce) is included in the price and served in the Studio lounge, which guests are also welcome to use for reading, planning trips, playing scrabble/cards or just enjoying a cup of tea or coffee (available all day). The Studio looks out onto the private garden, where there are strategically placed benches and chairs for enjoying a nap in the sun!
