I am a regular visitor to this amazing place and never tire of coming back. The hospitality is first class and we have been so well looked after it is hard to imagine how it could be bettered. In fact I know it can't!l The food is amazing and the baking and extra little thoughtful touches are really quite special.

Hungry ,Marlene recommended a delightful seafront restaurant,Donaldos,that really hit the nook. we appreciated this thoughtful suggestion upon retiring. We stayed with Marlene and Ross when we first came to New Zealand on holiday from California in March of 2003. Without doubt this was our best accomodation during the entire month we were in the country. We subsequently emmigrated to NZ and now live in Wellington, and my parents are visiting. We're specifically stopping in Carters Beach so that my parents can have the same experience. Sadly there's not enough capacity for all of us, so we're staying the night at a nearby motel specifically to let my parents have a night with Ross and Marlene. It's really that good. :)

The motels in westport were full up and my husband and I were directed to the B&B . The facilities were roomy, spotless and tastefully furnished with everything and more than we needed. They were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much for them. They helped with a late meal on arrival and breasfast was healthy and beautifully served

Having never stayed in a B&B we were so impressed by the warm welcome we received. The heater was on when we arrived, pretty flowers in the bathroom and lounge. Outstanding hospitality all round. Recommended scruptious dinner med cafe, but first offered her won kitchen had we wanted to cook our own. Altogether wonderful. Also very peacefull.

My experience at Bellaville was extraordinary, right from the start. I was tired after a long drive when I arrived at Westport and rather than giving me directions, Marlene came to meet me to escort me to her place. Both herself and Ross sat down to help me out w/ my itenerary that evening and plan a trip the next day, which was very helpful. Marlene even did a washing for me with no hesitation at 10 pm in the evening! Bellaville is reasonably priced, very clean, tastefully decorated and quiet place with two very kind and genuine people that I will not long forget! Breakfast was yummy as well!! .... I would without hesitation give this a 10 out of 10 		(none)
