Chapel Hill B&B Accommodation, is a country home only 15 minutes south of Greymouth in the beautiful Marsden Valley, on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

The property is a name place, with the house, built in 1980, architectually designed to reflect the history of the property, which was the site of a Chapel in the 1880's. The house reflects this hertiage in the Chapel doors, high exposed beams and lead light windows. Recently refurbished, it has been tastefully decorated with warm heritage colours flowing from room to room offering guests a warm welcome.

Our three rooms, located upstairs, are unique and designed to make your experience more like staying in a friends country house, rather than a hotel or other accommodation. Each room is light and airy, with views over the garden and grounds, or across our paddocks to the mountains.

High quality complimentary toiletries are provided, as well as thoughtfully stocked hospitality trays and guest fridge on same level.

Our aim is to make your stay with us a memorable one so whether you are looking for a holiday or short break, on business or leisure, a honeymoon, anniversary, romantic weekend getaway, or a relaxing vacation, we trust you will find Chapel Hill B&B to be an ideal choice for your accommodation.

We were made to feel most comfortable the instant we arrive by Joy, must not forget Crashes welcome to as only a labrador can with a mouthfull of his favourite toy. The house is inviting and warm, our tour of the lovely garden Joy and John have made with all the animals is a real treat, you just felt at home. We believe a stay at Chapel Hill is value for money. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, taken for a walk through the native bush surrounding the home, viewed the farm animals (feed the sheep), had a delightful fresh homegrown dinner, secure parking for our motor home (good to stretch the legs). We felt totally relaxed. A very friendly relaxing atmosphere.

The house is very lovely with a beautiful back yard in which you could enjoy a great little bush walk. There is also a small working farm where you can have a very close contact with sheeps. Joy and John are very welcoming and warm. They took a very good care of us. They also offered us an evening drink and we had a very pleasant talk. The breakfast was beautiful, very filling and refreshing. Mum and dad really enjoyed a Kiwi home style stay. It's truly a home away from home.

Thank you to Joy, John and Crash the dog who made us feel so welcome and at home immediately. It was great to relax after the journey on the Tranz Alpine train from Christchurch with a glass of wine by the log fire followed by a really delicious home cooked dinner. Your home is in a wonderful setting and your hospitality is second to none.

Well this was my first visit to a B&B, and Joy and John will make it difficult for others to come to my new expecations for this type of accomodation. I feel you went out of your way for me which I am going to believe, but the real me says this is how everyone will find you. A great experiance, telling all, Thanks , Kelvin (Worsfold)
