Te Rimu is set on the eastern hills of Waikanae overlooking the sea & Kapiti Island.
It is set among trees, both native & exotic, and has many resident birds.
Guests are welcome to use the upper area of the house which includes lounge, library, dining area and conservatory.
The local area is a small seaside town which is renown for its relaxed lifestyle, temperate climate and outdoor pursuits.
Te Rimu is 5mins walk from a regular commuter service to Wellington where guests can explore theatre, museums and retail therapy. Passengers on the commuter train debus 5mins walk from Westpac Stadium where concerts and sports events are scheduled.

I stayed t Te Rimu B&B last summer with my elderly mother. We had a wonderful stay in a very well appointed room, excellent breakfast and great conversation. I loved the stained glass windows. Te Rimu is well situated in tree studded grounds. Very peaceful and relaxing.
