Pateke Lagoons overlooks a private 50 acre wetland and waterfowl refuge. It offers peace and quiet in tranquil rural surroundings. 2 guest rooms, each with ensuite and private courtyard. Large lounge with wildfowl and wetland ecology library. Beautiful views of farmland, sea and wetland. Easy 30 minute walking tracks through native bush and wetland. Fresh seafood is our specialty with garden fresh vegetables. Special breakfast using local products. Feed the horses and pet the cats. Open wetlands are unsuitable for children.

Simply one of the best B&B's I've stayed at in New Zealand. Peter and Adrienne are wonderful hosts, very knowledgable about wetland ecology - and fantastic cooks! A private and serene experience. 		(none)
