Jan & Laurie are nice people. Laurie has a passion for trains and gets out of his way to share his knowledge with you. Clean and tidy premises and good breakfast.

What a lovely little cottage this is! We have enjoyed the sense of seclusion this little nook offers while taking advantage of the nearby village and cafes. Thanks to Sylvia and Alana for warm hospitality - practical, efficient and totally unintrusive. A lot of thoughtful facilities provided - music and reading to suit most everyone. Bye beach, back to the City!

We never got tired of watching the sea; better than watching the TV (esp. the All Blacks losing the Bledisloe Cup!!) We loved the music, the local restaurants (Cafe Viva and Cafe Rosetta) and the many walks along the beach at night, during high tide (exciting) and during the day. What a retreat! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Thanks Sylvia and Brent for making this weekend a weekend to remember.
