Wonderful accommodation with impressive attention to small and large details. Delicious breakfast provisions to enjoy while taking in the fabulous views from the large windows throughout. We have been in many places around the world and for the price this was really special.

The location was perfect with stunning views over the harbour. Complementing this was a beautiful self contained detached flat with all the necessary appointments. The hosts Gus and Gillian couldn't do enough to make our stay very pleasant. We will be back!

This place is magic. The artistry of the owners shines through in every detail of the building, and the naturally beautiful environment has been carefully worked with to provide a stunning retreat. Panoramic day and night views, a native bird chorus to wake to, and fantastic food. Gill and Gus are the icing on the cake, they couldn't have looked after us better. We will be back.

A song claims that "Bermuda is another world" and it is. However, our time at Gus and Gill Watt’s place was an even better world. This lovingly hand crafted guest suite set in native bush and overlooking the harbor to Wellington City and the hills beyond embodies the best of New Zealand. Gus and Gill embody the best of humanity and are the perfect hosts. We travel quite a lot and without any doubt our accommodation at Sorrento Bay during January 2009 was the most successful and memorable we have enjoyed anywhere at any time. A magical hideaway in the treetops we could have stayed forever. Warm hospitality, great location, comfy bed, loved the cable car , also the walk up is not a problem, superb.
