We had a warm welcome from Glenys when we stayed with her on the 24th February 2008, an absolutely delicious dinner with lively interesting conversation followed by an equally good breakfast - all very memorable. Her garden was very special, immaculate with splashes of colour and set in wonderful parkland - all looking really good in spite of the lack of rain. We did enjoy our stay and only wish we could have had another day there. |

Glenys, the perfect hostess, could not have made my wife and me feel more welcome in her beautiful home in a lovely, quiet rural setting. Tidsfordriv is an idea spot from which to explore the area - our few nights their passed all too quickly. We stayed early in 2006 and intended a return visit which has been put on hold only for health reasons. The house is some km from Masterton (we weren't massively impressed with the two restaurants we tried there and hope other visitors have better luck) BUT Glenys is a brilliant cook and if she still offers evening meals, I challenge anyone to find better-tasting lamb anywhere. |

We booked for 1 day and stayed 3. In seven weeks of traveling this was the best. We were welcomed and made to feel at home from the minute we arrived. The gardens were an oasis. Both breakfasts and evening meals were prepared by a master cook, including fresh fruit and vegetables. We were given great directions for nearby places to visit, especially for bird watching. |

Our family had a really memorable stay at Tidsfordriv. We were made to feel very welcome. The home is situated with a rural backdrop, with park and garden like setting, with a beautiful outlook. Glenys was an absolutely wonderful host. We enjoyed fine conversation, lovely meals and overall superb hospitality. And our kids loved it. I would highly recommended staying there. |

We are the 2 Danes who visited for 2 nights in February. We just want to send our best thanks for wonderful hospitality in a wonderful place. Thanks also to Athol for driving us to see a NZ dairy farm and milking system in action. We saw many B&B places, and would rate Tidsfordriv as one of the best. We will recommend your place. Facilities and breakfast extremely fine. |

Thankyou for a great weekend and your recipe for garlic sauce. We had a very peaceful time and thoroughly enjoyed your fantastic gardens and ponds. We would have loved to stay longer. Lauren & Colin Hale I liked walking on the hill, racing with the dogs and going on the boats. The bed was very cosy. Gabrielle (5) I liked having all that space to run around, playing with the dogs and going boating on the pond. I would like to stay again. Connor (8) |

We stayed with Glenys for 5 days in April 2004, whilst we were attending an exhibition in Masterton. Glenys did everything she could to make us feel at home, despite the fact that we cluttered up her living room when we were packaging products for the exhibition. In fact, she helped us with the packaging! Glenys prepared a wonderful meal every evening. Each night we sat together long after we had finished eating, chatting and sharing stories and jokes. If you are lucky, you might also meet Gleny's friend Athol, who also has a great sense of humour. We were lucky to see the garden at the beginning of Autumn, absolutely glorious. We highly recommend a stay at Tidsfordriv. Plan to stay more than one night! |

Only were able to stay one night but that left us with one of our most enjoyable stops in all of our three weeks in NZ. Lovely food, lovely room, gorgeous gardens and above all gracious host. This place is a gem. |
