LLandaff Country Residence is a large elegant historic 1880 homestead, now a boutique B&B, with beautiful original NZ timbers throughout, wood paneled rooms, polished floors, spacious bedrooms, old pull-handle toilets, a "coffin" bath, open fireplaces, and a cosy wood-burning kitchen stove. Explore the historic out-buildings, soak up the peaceful country atmosphere, relax in the majestic garden beneath 120 year old trees, or wander the farm and feed the animals. Visit the historic horse wrawn carriages and farm implements.

I felt just like I'd stepped into a Regency novel. Elizabeth brought me tea and cake out in the bower, Robin was awitty and educated coversationalist. The grounds were arorable and the room gorgeous. My favourite was the old-fashioned bathroom. Sadly I had to leave by car, not coach and four.
