Guests have their own wing with a large upstairs lounge, tea coffee facilities, TV and pool table. Our interests, gardening, golf, wildlife and conservation, meeting and talking to our guests from all parts of the world. Meet Tyson and Pershey, our two pet cats. Enjoy, farm tours and walks on our 1200 acre sheep/beef property, trout fishing and kayaking, renowned Mt Bruce National Wildlife Centre, Golf at our local 18 hole course, friendly honest hospitality. 1.5 hours to Wellington, 45 minutes to Palmerston North. Situated State Highway 2.

We enjoyed our stay at Mount Donald last year so much,we couldn't wait to revisit Mount Donald.From gardening to farming and wonderful conversations the Southerlands are the couple to interact with. Company, meals and accommadations are outstanding. This is a must stop for anyone who shares their interest. Thanks Lynne & Jim for a wonderful visit.This is one stop that will always be on our itinery 		(none)
