Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge is right in the centre of Waitomo Caves Village, opposite the award-winning Huhu Cafe, next to the Village Store and just a short walk to the Waitomo Caves i-SITE/Discovery Centre, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Curly’s Bar/Bistro and a pizzeria.

Each of the 8 ensuite studio units has a private entrance and beautiful views of the cottage garden and surrounding hills.

Each unit has insect screens, tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and TV and, if you wish, you can use the guest fridge, BBQ, microwave and laundry facilities.

There is Wi-Fi access and a laptop computer available for use by guests.

Included in the price is a large continental breakfast, which is served buffet-style in the dining room, with beautiful views of the countryside.

You can expect a warm welcome from Gypsy, the family dog, as well as Colin and Janet, who can give you knowledgeable advice, make bookings for local activities and help with your itinerary.

The host and hostess were very accommodating & friendly. The lodge have a quiet & lovely garden. The flowers were in full bloom. We & our visitors from the Philipines had a nice stay there.

Very helpful. Good breakfast. Steep drive up to accommodation car park on flat ground across the road, once you have off loaded. Pleasant self contained bedroom. Very good value for money.
