We warmly welcome guests to our fully refurbished warm (double glazed and centrally heated) central city home. A 1920's heritage home, Timata Ora offers 4 luxurious queen suites (one with 4 Poster) each with own bathroom, TV, fridge, hair drier, iron/ironing board, heated towel rails, complimentary beverages and in room treats. The famiy suite has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom and amenities as other suites. Breakfast in your suite, dining room, in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy leisurely 5-10 min walk to Park, City Restaurants and seafront.

My wife & I, together with another couple, stayed at Timata Ora for two nights in July 2009. We cannot praise Carol & Rodney's Timata Ora B&B enough. It is idealy located in easy walking distance to the City Centre and to attractions such as the waterfront and Pukekura Gardens, yet private and quiet. The rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable and the welcome and personal friendly attention were great. Breakfast, both cooked and continental were perfect. If the above seems "over the top", just put it down to our enthusiasm after a great stay! We have no hesitation in recommending Timata Ora....lots of charm and character....why would one bother with a hotel?

My husband and I went to New Plymouth to photograph buildings designed hubby's late grandfather T.H. Bates. As Timata Ora was one of them, we were thrilled to be able stay there. Rodney and Carol were wonderful hosts and were able to tell us where to find most of the buildings. All in all, a very memorable weekend!
