We got married in the beautiful gardens earlier this year. Fantastic hosts, gorgeous venue! What an amazing hidden beauty so close to New Plymouth. Only scoring a 9 because there was no spa pool! Thankyou very much Nancy and Hugh.

If you miss a stay with Nancy and Hugh you will miss a perfect view, an ever-changing beach to walk on, a breathtaking private garden, and amazing hospitality. We stayed with them for 2 weeks in a modern, clean, organized, PRIVATE cottage. Rest assured you will be stunned by the privacy, the scenery, and what the area in general has to offer. After almost 2 months of touring it remains our favorite spot in NZ. Try it.you'll love it!

Absolutely delightful - both the interior space of my unit and the lovely grounds and sunken garden. Hosts Nancy & Hugh are gracious and were very generous with their time and advice about local events and attractions during my 7 night stay. I look forward to seeing them again during my next visit which hopefully will be in the very near future.

Fantastic! Wonderful clean rooms, set on a low cliff above the Tasman sea, comfortable and perfectly laid out, private and secure. JUST the place to run away to and realx- close enough to New Plymouth for dinner, but far enough away to privacy and soul-restoring walks on the beach at sunset! This was our second visit, and we'll be back as often as possible!
