Enjoy your own comfortable fully equipped three bedroom house plus separate bunkhouse for energetic children. Set in own garden on a sheep and flower farm, in the heart of Southland. Flowers bloom from October to May. Tennis court on property, trout river, excellent golf course nearby, only $15 per round. Plenty of trips, walks, tramps and adventure tours to do. I actually worked here one season, rather than staying as a guest, but it was a lovely place. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous; Mrs. Henderson knows her stuff there. And I can verify the sheep. We only had to chase lambs out of the guesthouse yard once, otherwise they stayed in their pastures. Guesthouse is private with its own drive; hosts live across the road behind some trees. Interior is nicely decorated, with mod cons, but not over the top. Bunkhouse is cheerful and tidy (at least when you arrive!). Guests seemed to enjoy their stay; fishing, hunting, walking, and just enjoying the bright, clean weather.
