Kia Ora - Haere mai ki ta matou kainga.
Hello and welcome to our home.

We are both of Nga Puhi/Irish decent and expect to be greeted with the traditional Maori "hongi" on arrival.

Set amidst snow capped mountains (Takitimu) and surrounded by lovely green family farmland, just minutes from Te Anau and all of Fiordlands unique features.

We are pleased to offer to our guests a quiet relaxing stay during your visit to our beautiful country.

Lynwood Park is the ideal Honeymooners retreat with self catering continetal breakfast provided and fresh baked croissants delivered to you each morning.

We have 10 years experience providing Bed and Breakfast and local knowledge to help you book your ideal holiday attractions.

If traveling during peak seasons Nov-May we advise making prior booking for all accommodation and scenic attractions to avoid disappointment. Especially during January and February.

Our laundry facilities are available free of charge and we have a pool table here and have had many fun times playing socially with our guests.

We reside here with our 9 year old daughter Daniella and two small dogs, Nui a Shih Tzu and Kahurangi a Maltese X. We also have a cat called Spots, a real farm cat with attitude and a pet sheep called Shadow.

All lifestyles welcome and catered for - come and enjoy our "laid back" life.
Mauriora.

My Wife and I spent the night of 3 March, 2004 at Lynwood Park. We were an instant match with Trina Baker and her daughter, Daniella; we felt just like family. An added connection was that the next day Daniella and I both celebrated our birthdays. Breakfast was one of the best of our entire trip. The farm setting at Lynwood Park is so beautiful and peaceful. Sheep are grazing right by the home. We've recommended this farmstay to a good friend who is leaving for N.Z. in a few weeks. We wish we were going, too. P.S. Trina recommended a fantastic restaurant very nearby...Josswood - A Home With A Restaurant. A superb dining experiece. We enjoyed our two nights with Trina and Daniella. We were treated like family.
The room was very comfortable and warm. The views were magnificent and
Trina answered all of our questions. You should pay attention to any
suggestions she makes about what to see and do in the area. When we return to NZ,
we will definitely stay at Lynwood Park again
