Brian & Shona provide a private, spacious, modern new home on a 12 acre lifestyle property with fantastic views. Private upstairs unit, underfloor heating and full size snooker table. Close to the Mataura River, 18 hole Golf Course and Native Bush Walks. A perfect base for sightseeing Southland and attending the NZ Gold Guitar Awards, Waimumu Fieldays and the Hokonui Fashion Awards. Interests - golf, fishing, dog trialing, music and wine tasting. Brian & Shona must rank as two of the best hosts of any B&B at which we have stayed. It was a joy to be able to dine with them over a beautifully presented evening meal. The position and wonderfully kept gardens made our stay truly enjoyable. Must go again when in NZ. Joe & Gay, Salisbury, UK.

We had some very good experiences in B&B's during our month's stay in New Zealand last March. This one was great! We had a wonderful visit with Brian & Shona over a delicious dinner and then breakfast the next morning. Their hospitality was unsurpassed and their home was spotless, very comfortable and beautiful. We would recommend Hokonui to anyone. 		(none)
