Richard and Carolyn welcome you to their warm and comfortble home, situated amidst farmland overlooking Gore and The Hokonuis, famous for it's whiskey. Near by, is the Mataura River, famous for the Brown trout. Fishing guide or advice available with notice. Gore and the Southland area have many intersting places to see, with art gallery's, airplane muesums, bush walks, golfing to name a few. Also for the NZ Gold Guitar Awards, Waimumu Fieldays, and the Hokonui Fashion Awards. We enjoy meeting new people and talking about New Zealand and sharing travel experiences. Breakfast is served with fresh baked bread and jams and perserves, also with hot cooked bacon and eggs.
