Brentleigh is situated on the banks of the Mataura River, famous for its brown trout fishing. Hosts Brian & Mary farm 1500 acres of arable crops, cattle deer & sheep grazing. The homestead is situated in a large country garden featuring over 1000 paeonies which flower in November, December.
Brentleigh is an ideal destination for fly fishermen with 10 good fishing rivers nearby, including the Oreti, Waikaia, Hamiltonburn & Aparima. Fishing guides can be arranged
