Jan and Bob welcome you to the magnificent Mackenzie Basin and the Mount Cook National Park.

Our modern home, which is situated on a hectare of land, has stunning mountain views along with space and tranquility.

We are a forty-five minute drive to Mount Cook National Park and only a three minutes drive to several restaurants.

There is a guest sitting room with a balcony and tea and coffee making facilities.

We begin your day with a generous special continental breakfast.

We look forward to sharing our home with you and are only too happy to discuss your New Zealand itineraries and sightseeing.

Beautiful home, very organized and detailed couple. This B&B is their job and they put a lot into it. Good view of mountains & helpful with suggestions for activities. Nice breakfast.

My fiancé (now husband) and I stayed at Artemis B&B for just one night in January 2003 during our fly&drive vacation in NZ, but it stays in our heart as the most pleasant place we stayed at in the whole country, and this is the reason for looking into the web for its website two years later, to enjoy our fond memories once more wishing we were there! Jan and Bob are really the most exquisite, kind and lovely hosts you can expect! The location is amazing, with views on Southern Alps from your window, cute rabbits jumping everywhere on the hills and breakfast is just fantastic, with home made preserves and cakes! We just regret for staying just one night (actually arriving very late and moving on the morning after), but when you have a scheduled trip you cannot stay! But we hope to come back again someday, maybe with our kids, and follow Bob's advice on trying Helicopter flights on Mount Cook (which we didn't have time to try last time)!
