Ms. Roy (Denese) is the consummate bed and breakfast hostess in the finest English tradition. Ruth and I have had the pleasure of staying in many lovely b&bs in England, Ireland, and on the continent, and Forest View measures up to the best of these. Should any reader of this review find anything less to be the case, said reader is invited to track me down (state of New Jersey in the United States) and to cuff me about the head and face. Such is my confidence that you will have a lovely stay in Denese's home. |

I have visited Forest view two years running, 2007 I had 7 days in all 4 over xmas. This should show I had a wonderful time with Denise I feel like a friend and was accepted as one of the family. I kept in touch in 2007 by email. Denise does everything she can to make you welcome in her comfortable home & lovely garden. Her cooking is excellent, you just have to say what you want & she will provide it no matter what your fancy is. You will have no regrets booking this accommodation |

This was our last homestay/B&B in our 2 1/2 weeks in NZ and was a terrific place to end our vacation. Geraldine is a nice town en route to Christchurch and Forest View is clean and cozy with spectacular gardens. We also enjoyed the best breakfast of our entire trip. Great value and highly recommend it! |

Denese is a gracious hostess. The house is very comfortable and the garden is beautiful, but the breakfast is excellent (best we ate in New Zealand!). We even went back again on our way back through town! |
