Kaka Point is situated at the Northern end of the spectacular Catlins Coast through which the Southern Scenic Highway travels. This region features many sandy beaches, towering cliffs, rocky headlands, waterfalls, bush clad hills and farmland.
Our modern home is 2 minutes walk from the Kaka Point patrolled beach, bush reserve , shop, bar and restaurant. We have secure off street parking and a private guest entrance.
Yellow eyed penguin, gannets spoonbills, and seals can be viewed from the Nugget Point Scientific Reserve some 15 minutes drive away.
We have a knowledge of the local area, and an interest in art and conservation and would like to share this with you.
Tuis, bellbirds and wood pigeons can be viewed feeding from our house at certain times of the year.
