A warm welcome awaits guests at our quality self-contained apartment which enjoys panoramic unrestricted ocean views from the balcony and both bedrooms. Quality furnishings, double glazing and central heating ensure a comfortable stay even in the cooler months. We are 10 minutes from Nugget Point, seals, penguins and other birdlife and a short 2 minute walk to the cafe. Having farmed in the area all our lives, we enjoy travel and meeting people and sharing the local history with our guests over coffee.

Our stay at the Breadalbane house was one of mixed feelings. The accommodation itself was beautiful and had a great view. However we felt the service to be slightly cold. We felt as though any request we made was a chore for them such as the "Free Internet" that was advertised and the "Complementary Laundry" that was never provided to us. We also could have done without the dull breakfast that was charged at $10pp for a few pieces of toast, some small boxes of cereal, and some canned peaches. Perhaps there was a slight discrimination because of our age? If looking to stay at the Breadalbane house, beware of the "Free Internet" which is supposed to be for email only, and for the bland breakfast. If everything else is booked it will suffice but look elsewhere if possible.

Very friendly and informative hosts who helped us to make the most of our stay with the local information they gave us. Even lending us their binoculars! Hospitality excellent, accomodation stunning and views amazing. In our 8 weeks in NZ we have stayed in all the categories of accomodation on offer and this was simply the best.
