Grandview

The b&b is well named. A magnificent building with - well, grand views! Very comfortable and although when I stayed the place was full, Simon still managed to take a personal interest in each and every guest. Although I wanted breakfast before the advertised time, this presented no problem. |

Breadalbane House Accommodation
- Reviewed by Anonymous
Our stay at the Breadalbane house was one of mixed feelings. The accommodation itself was beautiful and had a great view. However we felt the service to be slightly cold. We felt as though any request we made was a chore for them such as the "Free Internet" that was advertised and the "Complementary Laundry" that was never provided to us. We also could have done without the dull breakfast that was charged at $10pp for a few pieces of toast, some small boxes of cereal, and some canned peaches. Perhaps there was a slight discrimination because of our age? If looking to stay at the Breadalbane house, beware of the "Free Internet" which is supposed to be for email only, and for the bland breakfast. If everything else is booked it will suffice but look elsewhere if possible. |

Deacons Court
- Reviewed by Neil Charles
This was the second time we have stayed in this wonderful old Victorian house. Now three years later the B&B has been completely restored and a spacious conservatory added looking out on to the beautiful rose garden. The rooms are extremely well maintained, very quiet and warm, with lovely comfortable bedes, and Ash and Kris are attentive hosts. The new availability of cooked evening meals is a very welcome addition and Ash's expert cooking served in the conservatory is not to be missed. The breakfasts remain a feature of this B&B - generous, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented. Deacons Court is very good value and a delight to be able to return to. Unreservedly recommended |

Beautiful garden & thanks for the cuttings, Sally! We will definately be recommending this one to our family & friends. |
