Welcome to Dunedin & Albatross Inn! Our beautiful late Victorian House has been completely refurbished in 2008. It is ideally located on the main street close to the University, gardens, museum, shops and restaurants. Our attractive rooms have ensuite/private bathrooms, telephone, TV, radio, tea/coffee, warm duvets and electric blankets on modern beds. Firm beds upon request. Quiet rooms at rear of house. Several rooms have kitchenette and fridge. Enjoy your breakfast in our cosy beakfast room. We serve freshly baked bread and muffins, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, juices, cereals, teas, freshly brewed coffee. We are happy to recommend and book tours for you. All wildlife tours pick up and drop off here. We can recommend many great places to eat, most just a short walk down George Street. Non-smoking, cot and highchair and laundry service. A wonderful place to stay; well presented rooms and an easy walk to the centre of Dunedin. Glynis is a charming host.

Great location near the University. Albatross Inn looks a little tired from the outside, but is warm and friendly inside. Our room was huge with a kitchenette area and the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and furnishings (carpet) needed a little attention, but bear in mind that is an old building and good old fashioned accommodation. Glynis was very friendly and helpful and produced a great breakfast in very sunny surroundings. We would stay there again!

This was a neat place with a very friendly host. The free internet was a great help and the room was warm and comfortable. We would certainly go to the Albatross again.
