From Whangarei drive east for 25 minutes to Taiharuru Estuary. Comfortable secluded accommodation in a separate upstairs flat. Full breakfast with extra home-cooked meals available. Safe kayaking and other boating from our jetty. Large garden with bush tracks and outdoor games. Close to fishing, shellfish, varied birdlife,and great walks on surf beaches and spectacular ridges. Delightful spot lots to do, to explore, to enjoy. Ros & Hugh are a warm & welcoming couple and the accommodation excellent. Thoroughly recommend this place & people.

What a find! Delighful, comfortable accommodation. Hugh and Ros Cole-Baker were wonderful friendly Hosts and the property just what you need for a relaxed time. breakfast exceeded our expectations. Can highly recommend it for people wanting to get away from 'it all'

Could not fault the location or hospitality. Food was great plenty to choose from. Nice little touches like flowers in your room, fruit and cookies. Bush walks, kayaks or boat was available tide permitting or time.
