Directions From Whangarei, follow signs for 'Whangarei Heads' until you reach Parua Bay. 0.5Km past the Parua Bay tavern (on your right), turn left onto 'Owhiwa Road'. After 5 Km you will come to Eden Homestay on the right. (50 metres past Franklin road).

A lovely rural setting with 11 acres of lush native bush having private walks down to a creek and sun dappled glade. Eden House is convenient to a wealth of quiet beaches, lovely bays, scenic walks, and a host of outside activities.

An ideal touring centre, only twenty minutes to the charming harbour town of Whangarei and, about 75 minutes to the Bay of Islands. A delicious full cooked English breakfast is included, along with complimentary beverages at all times.

You can order a 3,2 or 1 course dinner, (which includes an aperitif, with a wine and drinks list available

Try our unique delicious spicy Bhutanese dish prepared from traditional recipes brought back from that tiny Himalayan Kingdom. Along with music, tales and traditional costume.

Views from private deck, bush walk, delicious evening meal & cooked breakfast. Separate TV room with choice of DVD's & library. Attentive hosts & pool to cool off in after a hot day. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at this lovely location twice now and enjoyed every minute. There's a very warm welcome from your hosts as you arrive also the satisfaction of a stunning vista of hills & native bush & gardens all around the area. A most comfortable nights sleep to be had & a delightful breakfast to wake up to in the morning.

Staying at Eden House was so relaxing I just didn't want to leave. My daughter's are vegetarians and that can some times be a problem but not to Carole she made a beautiful meal that all the family enjoyed. Real value for money and I hope to return to New Zealand again one day and Eden House will most definately be on my itinterary. A big thank you to Richard and Carole

What a wonderful stay! Eden House had everything we wanted. We loved the beautiful rural and quiet location and, the stunning views took our breath away. The house was idyllic, comfortable, spacious, and Carole and Richard are such great hosts. The food was delicious and evenings around the dining table were a pleasure to look forward to after a day of visiting lots of fantastic places nearby.
