Dave and I have had our place here in Waipu for 14 years and have offered accommodation now coming into our 7th year (2010). We have really lovely feed back from our guests, some who have come back 5 times and each time they stay longer. Have met some truley lovely people and look forward to new guests and the years ahead cannot not imagine not doing this

We have the Scottish Highland games on the 1st Jan every year and from June - August we have Winter@Waipu where the village offers great entertainment. Our beaches, golf courses, caves, walking tracks are all within 4-15km away. It is only I.5 hours to the Bay of Island. Which makes day trips North or to the West Coast to see Tane Mahuta the biggest Kauir tree in NZ. Waipu is a great place to stay or to start or end your journey North.
