10 minutes from Matakohe Kauri museum, eco friendly Petite Provence is set on 7 hectares of rolling farmland,with neighbouring native bush and distant water views. We are 2 hours north of Auckland on the route to Waipoua forest. All rooms have insect screens and open onto a covered deck. Delicious evening meals, mediterranean, vegetarian, local cuisine (home produce when possible). Guy is French, Linda a new Zealander. Our home in the south of France was also a Bed & Breakfast. .
Directions: From Matakohe museum drive 2kms towards Tinopai, turn left into Tinopai road, drive approx. 7kms. Look for our roadside sign on left.

In all the places we were accepted as "Kiwis"!! It was simply great to stay in BnB and we'll certainly do it again and again. My husband is german , my sister and I belgian and our friend Italian!! Europe on tour.

A beautifully situated homestay in rolling countryside with sea views. Supurb welcome and accomodation and first rate food. Absolutely no complaints.
