Mac Retreat is a spacious home built out of Macaracarpa wood, so it has many wooden features. It is situated in Mangawhai Heads and has some seaviews. It is walking distance to the local beaches, shops, cafes and golf course. Mangawhai is in close proximity to other local attractions such as Goat Island Marine Reserve, where you can swim with local NZ fish, various local markets, Kauri museum and other local cities and towns, ie. Auckland, Whangarie and the Bay of Islands.

Sandra your host is also a qualified Massage Therapist and offers various massage services and spa treatments. Guests love these treatments as they are an extra relaxing and pampering treat you can have while on holiday. On the property there is also a spa, sauna, barbeque and bikes for your use. The accommodation is self- contained so you can prepare all your own meals if you wish, Sandra does offer a breakfast hamper, full of local produce that is placed in the fridge ready for your own convenience the next morning. Sandra is also able to arrange booking dinners at the local restaurants and cafes of your choice if you would like that before you arrive.

The retreat is a very spacious and comfortable home, and has disability access as well.
