Definitely the best place we've stayed in NZ. The hospitality food & entertainment were brilliant. We loved the pets and a 'Big Thankyou' for the riding lesson. We hope to return someday.

I recently visted your country and had the pleasure of staying with the Jarvis family at Pakaraka, Bay of Islands. It was exactly what I wanted and expected-comfortable accommodation in a quiet location and without the formality of an hotel. My working life has been spent running my own rural inn in England and I now review Inns and Hotels for two national guides so to be welcomed into the farmstay and family environment was just what I needed. I shall certainly return when visiting New Zealand next.

Thank you, Fredi & Douglas for a really great time. This was our first experience of ‘Homestay’ and we weren’t too sure if we’d like living in someone’s home, but you made us feel so welcome and we were able to completely relax. The whole experience was very therapeutic. The evening sing-a-long is still with us: ‘Paddy Maginty’s Goat’ will never be the same again . . . ! Thank you again – we’ll be back.

Thank you Fredi and Douglas for your warm and fantastic hospitatlity. We had the great chance that our guardian angel has guided us into your house for our great pleasure. We spent a marvellous time with you and discovered a few of your many talents. Our first expereinece of a B&B was excellent and it will difficult to find also good one in the future. We will remember the "Beaujolais Noveau' story!! Amilies et a une prochaine fois. Guy & Veronique Millot 4.2.07
