Paheke is a wonderful example of an early colonial house, built of pit sawn kauri in 1862 and a Historic Places Listed property. Your hosts Juen amd Frank both have professional backgrounds; Business and Engineering, with an excellent knowledge of the North and its attractions. Paheke is 15-20 mins away from Paihia and Kerikeri, set in a rural setting. We have a Golden Retriever who lives outside, doves and ducks and eels in the pond. The property has a heritage tree Cedar of Lebanon, planted 1865 and many very old (over 100) year trees on the 4 acre property. We offer dining, with a three course menu with choice, we have a wine cellar and offer good NZ wines with evening dining.
