We enjoyed our stay enormously. This was the last B&B we visited during our holiday in New Zealand. Super breakfast and wonderful room and charming hosts. We loved it at Appledore Lodge! Peter & Carina from The Netherlands

We were immediately taken in by the beautiful view from your lovely living room. Gorgeous home and so tastefully decorated- the cottage next to the main house where we stayed was so spacious, private and comfortable. Although it was in August 2005, our memories are still so fresh. The best B&B accomodation we have experienced so far. Very relaxing and comfortable. Loved watching the ducks in the garden and cuddling Misty - beautiful white Retriever who's in a class of her own. Thanks Janet and Jim for being such great hosts - that personal touch makes a difference. God Bless! Eileen and Chris Lee Singapore

a most relaxing venue from which to explore and enjoy all that the Bay of Islands has to offer. Exceptionally warm welcome and fantastic setting. Knowledge of the area enabled us to really get the most out of our stay there. Jim and Janet are the perfect hosts.
