Directions Kairuru is on the Takaka Hill State Highway 60 on the right hand side of the road 17kms NW of Motueka. There is a sign 1 km down from us and a sign at the gate KAIRURU - we are just one km before the Ngrura Caves

We are a 3rd generation farming family, farming sheep and on our 4000 acrea hill country sheep and cattle farm on the wonderful Takaka Hill. Guest accommodation is offered in 3 self-contained cottages, exclusively yours. KEA cottage has 3 bedrooms 2 downstairs 1 queen, 1 twin and an open attic bedroom with 2 singles/1super king. upstairs. Wonderful seaview of the Abel Tasman National Park and surrounding farmland. This cottage is fully equipped with bath/shower, laundry, dishwasher, full size stove, microwave, telephone DVD, CD player and is comfortable furnished. PIPIT cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 queen 2 singles/1 super king), shower, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, TV, telephone dining/sitting sun deck with wonderful sea views.<br/>CANAAN cottage on older pioneer cottage with 1 bedroom.This cottage is 2kms further up the road and is more of a 'get away' cottage than a farmstay. Quaint, but rustic!<br/>Breakfast provisions are supplied - this is optional. SPECIAL OFF SEASON DISCOUNT - 1st May - 31st October 2009 = $80 per cottage each night.

We loved this rural B&B when we stayed here a few years ago, although it was tricky to find, being quite far out of town, up a hill/mountain. Worth the trouble. Fabulous views. Secluded and cosy in own bungalow. Very friendly hosts. Ideal for pilots!
