St Arnaud House is a boutique sub-alpine bed and breakfast lodge nestled amongst native beech forest and its abundant bird life. We are within easy strolling distance to Lake Rotoiti. We have two queen bedrooms and one twin single bedroom available, all with ensuite bathrooms. Wireless broadband internet, evening meals are available by prior arrangment. St Arnaud House is heated by log fires and heat pump, making for cosy warm evenings in the winter.
A secluded sub-alpine haven amid the native beech forest of Nelson Lakes National Park. Abundant and vocal native bird life adds a musical background to lake, forest and mountain excursions suiting all fitness levels. NZ's Great Spotted Kiwi re-introduced May 2004, furthering the successful Mainland Island Conservation Project. Lake Rotoiti, Skiing, World Class trout fishing, Hunting,water activities on Lake Rotoiti, Bulle r river adventures, wine and art trails among many other local & regional attractions.
